Welcome to Maximum Torque Specialties, or MTS
as most people know us by. Entering our 24th year, we are pleased to be
the
most respected company and industry leader in promoting the resurgence and power of the highly
popular 1968 - 1976 Cadillac
472/500cid big block engines.
With our primary shop
in Southern California, long considered the Hot Rod
Capital of the world, and MTS East's satellite facility near Indy, we are located within an hour of industry
leaders Probe Inc, Chip Foose (Overhaulin), Boyd Coddington, and John
Force Racing, just
to name a very few of the thousands of premium quality companies in
our backyard. We have local access to the very best the world
has to offer and are partners with many other top-flight industry
professionals throughout the USA.
MTS is lead by Master Technicians Marty Lane
and John Walker. Marty has more
than 35 years experience in the automotive industry, and has built
many, "From the ground up" and custom projects. Some of his
more prestigious works
includes:
1959 Mercedes 219 w/ a Blown 289 Ford Cobra.
1933 Ford Vickie w/ 327 Chevy.
1962 Ranchero w/ a 302 Ford.
1940 Plymouth w/ a Fuel Injected 350 Chevy.

1963 Corvette Split Window w/ a 327 Fuelie.
1970 Cadillac El Dorado w/ an MTS Caddy 500.
1931 Model A (Just bought it). It's going to be made into a "Rat
Rod" with an MTS 472 Phantom engine.
The current project is a 1950 Nash Ambassador, fully refitted with a NHRA
roll cage and frame. The safety features are there to support the
10-71 Blown, 535cid MTS/PA custom Cadillac
power plant being installed in "The Nashillac."
