Water pump bottom bolt removal tips???

Just did one in my 79 425.... GRRRR :evil:
Anybody got a tip or trick that will make it a little easier next time I have to suffer thru that nightmare?

I pull the crank pulley off to do 'em-just four bolts.The hub stays on the crank.Lots more room.The holes in the pulley only line up one way so the timing mark is correct,but mark it so you don't have to try all four ways.
