Looking at dropping a 500 into a '46 Nash cruiser project...

may be looking into putting a mustang II front end in, and a 10bolt rear, but...unsure on steering

I havent ever dealt with a car swap, with a very large engine...on how you can set things up

Does anyone have anything sort of similar? i thought i read somewhere someone using a saginaw pump, i'm familiar with saginaw pumps, off of ford vans, but...dont know how they would be used in this application, and how you guys are setting up draglinks/tierods

any ideas/suggestions/pointers would be very appreciated! thanks

it IS the ambassador model, 4 door, with frame+unibody, i know the Nash600 doesnt, as my uncle is converting one into a hotrod with a 283 that has TBI, pretty decently built....with the LIGHT weight of the 600, i'm sure it'l be QUITE fast once it's done, i'm not looking for lightening fast, just nice solid HP, with the ability to go fast when needed

No PM received, i'll PM ya tho

My '47 Olds has the entire front clip from a '79 TransAm WS6. The frame width matched up very well and has the fast steering box available for Camero/TransAm. WS6 models will have 4 whl disc + big sway bars to control your big Amb body. 3rd member from the donor car was a 2.73 Posi 10 bolt .
