I am going to put my 68 deville convertible project car (in the beginning stage of restoration) on eBay soon. I want to give anyone here a shot at it first.
We are moving soon so all must go. This car has rust in fenders and quarters but floors and trunk are solid.
It was almost completely disassembled and ready for the body shop.
I purchased an engine and had painted it (cadillac blue) . I have installed it and the transmission for ease of transport for the buyer. I will also bolt in the seats.
The engine is from a 73 ( I ran the numbers) and has the hi flow water pump. Has been bored over .040 with modified cam (mild). It had the edelbrock intake but I put the stock intake on it since I was planning to restore A/C system as well. Still have intake with possible buyer.? Has torque converter with 1600 stall. Transmission has not been inspected, I just put it back in as I said for ease of transport for the buyer.
All small parts are bagged and tagged. I even made a video explaining to myself where all the wiring, piping, and other parts go and how they go together. I will give it to the buyer.
I almost forgot, it's original engine was seized (turned out to be rod bearings not rings seized). Anyway this engine and all accessories come with it as well as the accessories from the new engine (alternator, power steering pump, starter, and pulleys.
I live near St. Louis in Illinois
I will put pictures on here as soon as I can, maybe a few days.
Thanks,
Tim
