am installing a 500 in a 53 commander.any ideas on a reasonably priced oil pan and pickup?

I'm pretty sure you will need an rear sump Pan and pick-up from a 68-78 Eldorado. They run over $200.

im putting a 73 500 in my hearse, if it would help ill take some mesurments, and send you a pics of the pan.

found eldo pan.i trial fit engine in my 63 commander over the weekend and there is NO WAY the stock steering box will work.am considering some kind of rack and pinion.any suggestions out there? oops...it is a 53

There are several people on another site that have put 500 and 425 into 53 stuebakers. One goes by the name studillac.his is fairly completed might try him on the csob site.
