Looking to buy the lower part of front motor mount on 70 - 76 eldorado that runs from the front frame crossmember to the "rubber" mounts on either side of waterpump. (It is, I believe, somewhat of a "Y" shaped steel part.:))

These are the same from 68 to 72. In 73 they went to the two motor mounts in the front like the rear drive cars.
The early ones are a little hard to find and sell well when they are in good shape.

My 76 package apparently has the later style motor mount package, as it has rubber mounts (with a stud protruding) on each side of the timing cover. What I am missing and need, is the steel Y mount that goes from these mounts down to the front crossmember. :) I am building this package to put in my GMC motorhome, in place of the 455 toronado engine.;)

As it says, that is apparently the earlier design, as it has the rubber mount on the bottom (at the frame crossmember) where as my 76 eldo motor has rubber mounts on each side of timing cover, and I would assume, a solid mount at the bottom (crossmember) end. (the part I am missing, don't ya know!!:( Do you know if they are interchangeable - late style for old and vice sa versa? (assuming use of complete unit?)
In regard to the link to the cadillac conversion, yes I have seen and have a copy of the article. Do you know where I might get the part # for the late mount (less the rubber mounts on motor? I appreciate your help on this project. Incidentially, I took your advice and went on e-bay to get a 76 shop manual, Supposedly I have a copy on the way to me as we speak. Thanks again for the help.
