Getting around to updating the air filter/breather,,,, I have a home-made metal breather, the design was of low profile to get the hood to close short of a scoop or Miata bubble... we need a 10 inch x 2" element... K & N has the size but only flows 491 CFMs... where are others buying these at?, of course I can find 14" X 4" that will flow,, but way too big... May have to go back to a filter box (late model design) with 3" tubing.. but don't want to mix new technology with old,, unless it can't be seen. This is in the Pacer ,,1973 500 inch, w/ Q-jet. any ideas?

cadipacer,

Could you also use the KN filter tops that flow air? Fwiw - imo, the 3" hose to the remote filter would be way too restrictive.

Thanks Dan,, will check Kool Blue/ Accel
Dave,, thats right the tube if any will be 4"
and the idea on that top flow is good too, however I'm trying to pull cool air
outside in to force feed the breather.
