Title sort of states it.

This is NOT a junkyard engine and tranny. It has been gone through although it was last fired up to break it in about 3-4 years ago. It is bored .030" over. Just a basic rebuild. If you think a part is exceptional, it probably isn't herehttp://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/images/smilies/shaking.gif It does come with a 368 oil pan as you see in the picture.

The tranny was gone through with a rebuild kit and currently sits with an NP203 output shaft. I am currently looking for a 2wd replacement shaft/housing. I will be pulling the NP203 output shaft before sale.

The engine comes with one alternator(pictures show two). It comes with the manifolds shown in the pictures. It doesn't have a carb or a distributor(one is shown in the picture but it is a EFI version).

Engine and tranny w/o output shaft will be $1000. I've also got some Sanderson headers available for $400. I do have a Chevy 454 TBI unit that I could include for $250(this is an almost complete "kit" with wiring for TH400, ECM, etc).

The engine is located in Gilroy, CA but with a deposit, I could arrange possible delivery between Gilroy and Sacramento. I can arrange an engine hoist in Gilroy. Shipping is not an option.

I am selling it because the pictured project got abandoned *sad*

Some pictures(first two are build up pictures from a while ago.. the later rocker/crank pictures are about one month old):

It is located on the west side of Gilroy... more or less next to Hecker Pass and Santa Theresa.

John,

I'm sorry to hear that your LC has been put on hold. Hopefully it is only a temporary condition. I remember when you built that engine. Should be a good runner for someone.

Good luck
~JM~

PS. Check your PM's.

Wish it was a temp thing:(

Little extra info on the engine:

Intake is the non-EGR style
heads are 76cc version (casting 1497902)
Should be low compression version(90% certain without tearing engine apart to check pistons)

Is the 472 still available? If so how can I contact you to ask some questions?
