Yeah so I think I have this whole starter solenoid conversion straightened out. I think I will get it done over the weekend, take some pics and add it to my Cadillac project site. Kinda making a "how-to". Stay tuned...

funny that you post that. I was just reading something similar on a Nova enthusiasts website. I figure it can't hurt to draw up one for the Caddy crowd right? LOL

Thank you all for bring this topic up. I will be taking the SB Ford out of my 32 Sedan this fall and installing the 472 we just finished rebuilding. This helped on how I was going to rewire the system for the Cad starter. With this all I have to do is add a jumper.

I do this convertion to almost all of the GM starters it helps a lot with the hot start problem ..... though a high compresstion caddy motor is going to need a good starter to turn it over even when it is cold ,,,,,
