I'm new to forums (any forum) and have purchased a fair number of hi-po parts for a 500 to put in a 1950 Nash Ambassador while using part of a 60 Deville frame. Parts purchased: Ross 10 to 1 forged .030 piston and forged rods w/ moly rings, Cad Co. pro street heads (76 cc), 300 SS cam kit, shaft roller rockers & single plane intake, Holley TBI with 900 CFM throttle body w/ 85 lb injectores (4), mid length Caddy headers, Accell dist w/ MSD 6AL box, and other misc go and show patrs. My question is this stuff sound like it will work and are ther any problems I should look for. I've built engines and cars for years but am new to Cads and to chat rooms (forums). Thanks

I guess this combo is going to work as nobody has told me otherwise. I did a fair amount of reading in the forums and catalogues before gathering the parts so it looks like I did OK. What does anybody know about the forged rods and Ross pistons from Maddog??
Correction. The frame for the NASH project is a 69 Devile.

I cant tell you if it sounds like a good setup or not, but if you did your research it will probably be ok. I hope to see and hear of progress on this car...Im thinking about doing the same thing to my 62 Rambler classic. good luck
