oil leak

anyone else have an oil leak at the corners of the heads and intake from
a poor bead of sealant or could it have been the composite gaskets.

The intersection where the head,block, and intake meet is a notorious leak spot. If you are using silicone you need to super clean that joint and make sure the silicone is injected into that area real good.
High mile engines with blow by also make the problem worse. The extra crankcase pressure and force oil out in that same spot.
