I've seen conflicting data on different websites about the engine power specs from 68-75 motors. Does anyone know of a good website that lists these specs?

Best site I know of is this (http://www.100megsfree4.com/cadillac/) one. They list teh specs for each engine by year. Don't forget that the ratings changed from Gross to net in the early 70's.
For example, the 72 , with 8.5:1compression is rated:
net HP 220 at 4400 rpm
gross HP 345 at 4400 rpm
Torque 365 ft. lbs @2400 rpm
Of course running at 4400 with the stock valve train is a no-no.
I've never seen a real dynamo test of stock 472's with different compression ratios.
I'd like to see the stock tunning numbers for 68 - 75, give the different heads, pistions, and carbs used. Buit all ar capaple of more than stock numbers with a little, inexpensive, tweaking.
Like changing the cam, or changing the cam timing, and tuning the carb.
