When I tore down my 472 the car it was from looked like a 69 but i've never seen these style pistons before. You guys ever see these on a 472 from the factory? Thanks - Justin

Those look correct for that year. The 8 shape.

the 1968-69 are the same and the 1970 looks the same but the dish is a little deeper... those look like the stock high comp. pistons...

1970 10:1 Piston
The 1970 500 was the no smog motor it had the 76cc 950 heads with no smog rails. It also had the unique swirl chamber dome 10:1 pistons that look like a binocular. The 950 heads weigh about 3 pounds less than other cad heads but should not be considered high performance because they don't flow any better than the others.

they look excactly like the ones from my 68 472. minus the rust of course :oops:
