Since theres no room under hood for a 1" phonlic spacer and still have a
fuel stumbling when hot (89 * outdoors) engine compartment very hot ,,, I'm thinking about pluging the crossover gallery under carb,, and then drilling provisions for 1/2" npt on both sides to install air- flow under carb., via of the ram air induction just off snorkles.
I noticed the gallery runners under carb are very dark color even burnt in comparision to the fuel runners.
Anybody done this,, I did this years ago on AMC engines with good results.. thanks,,,
