Does anyine know if this Crane-thing can be used on a Caddy distributor? I can`t see why not, but then I`m a Caddy-newbie

Which one? If the mounting is the same as one of them, should work fine.

It`s one and the same, just "before and after"
A neat little high-tech module w.built-in rev-limiter; isn`t that exactly what a warmed-up Caddyenegine needs?

If you're points and condensor need replaced, then I'd go for it. Seems like a good widget. MSD is also making these with the rev limiter built in.
I'd expect that the Chevy part number fits the Caddy distributor. That's the case for any HEI stuff anyway. Pertronix kits and others for the Chevy HEI fit the Caddy

R.Solur,
You may want to check the rotation of the caddy dist, compared to the engines that the kits fit. Fwiw, you could just use a junkyard HEI from various caddy engines.

 I think it's cheaper just to go with the HEI as well. Pretty much a one wire hook up too. What you need a rev limiter for? That's what vale float is for!
