I just wanted to say hello and that I'm looking forward contributing to this site. As a member of another site, http://www.hybridz.org/ I was challenged by a member there to consider using a 500" Cadillac engine for my Datsun 240Z. One of our current members has already done a mostly stock 500" swap, but I'm looking to go farther! My plans are a aluminum headed 500" thru a Tremec TKO 600 5 speed and a VLSD R230 rear diff. The car will be setup to handle well in the corners and have A/C. I am currently collecting parts but hope start my conversion this spring/summer. I look forward to hearing from anyone with constructive suggustions!

Mark,
I had some pics of a 240Z with a low buck Caddy swap, but I deleted tham by mistake. If you ask over at the CowboySeven board, someone there may have those pics.
Iirc, he used stock RWD manifolds, and it fit like a glove. Iirc, he narrowed a 12 bolt chev rear. I'm assuming he used an Eldo pan, but I can't say for sure.

You can double check, but my understanding was it's on hold, and the '70 is now on the front burner, though that's going slow.
