I have a 76 500 im building...its .030 over with flat top pistons and im putting a set of 73 472 heads on it it should produce 13:1 compression will the bottom end hold up?

It'll hold up but only if you keep it out of detonation.
With that compression you need 100+ octane race gas all the time :!:

Where in Ohio are you? I'm in Bucyrus, and have the same setup.

If you plan on spraying it - make sure your tune is spot on or you'll have a big ole mess. I would use some forged rods personally to act as a "relief valve" - they will bend & twist but usually stay in one piece. The stock cast rods will break instead of bending - big problem.

However if you stay away from the spray you'll probably be ok with just resizing the stockers and adding good bolts.

They will hold if you have everything else damn near perfect, but if not, you'll completly trash it. And as has been said, you are going to need to be running 110+ octane gas.
