I pulled a 500 out of a 72 Eldo yesterday at the local Pick-n-Pull that's going into my 55 Stude. The tune-up tag said that 91 octane fuel was required. In my research I find that the 1972 motors were 8.5:1 compression. Was 91 octane required with these motors with the lower compression?
