my 75? 500 has began making clouds during max acceleration.what valve seals are best for this without machining?

Does not sound like valve seals to me. If they're bad, you'll usually get smoke on a start-up, and coasting or esp after getting on the gas at the bottom of a hill.
On seals:
Small o.d. umbrella seals that fit 11/32" valves will work. Studebaker and International engines have seals that are small o.d. Sealed Power lists various oem style seals and their o.d., etc in the catalogs. Many machine shops also stock small o.d. generic umbrella seals.
Just so they are a bit smaller on the outside than the i.d. of your springs. If they rub at all, they'll be damaged.
The stock caddy retainers/seals are available seperately too.
