Dumb question:  What is the size of the Harmonic Balancer Bolt for a 1975 Caddy 500? I've tried several places, but can't seem to find this part. Can't finish the motor until I do!! Any help would be appreciated.

There isn't one. The crank snout is threaded, and you can use a bolt there to help install the balancer, but from the factory there was no bolt there. Just a cork to keep dirt out of the threads. You can use a hammer and a block of wood to install the hub. I've done it that way several times. It's easier than using the bolt. :D

Or did you mean the 4 bolts that hold the balancer and pullies to the hub?

Either way, call Al at MTS (our host). He sells both.

Items 6-5750 and 6-5751 are the pulley bolts.

Item HW30 is the bolt for putting the hub on the crank.
