Director of R&D John Walker has over 35 years of automotive experience, who started out by growing up in a family of NASCAR and Drag Racing fanatics. In his family, when you got old enough to work on a car, you just did it, and were taught the right way to work on everything, from welding, to bodywork, to engines. Being raised MOPAR religious, John's 1st car was a 1969 Road Runner. During the three years he owned it, he quickly gained valuable experience with five various engine rebuilds due to "Heavy Foot Syndrome." These early years led John to discover his skills in R&D and the thought process leading to his famous Stroker Motor mindset.
After numerous years in the automotive industry, and still a MOPAR guy, John's experimental nature kicked in and he tried building something old and boring; a Chevy. During the initial phase he was accidentally introduced to a Cadillac 472 engine, and not only were his short-lived Chevy days over, but MOPAR as well. They just couldn't keep up. Torque Inc was founded in 2001, to develop new Cadillac specific parts, and promote John's 472 Stroker motor ideas. John's passion into understanding the details of these special Cadillac engines, has made him an industry icon and a perfect fit for the advancement of MTS and the Caddy community. |

Though they come from different backgrounds, there is one important thing both have in common; The Admiration of and Dedication to these incredible Cadillac motors. It's now all they do, nothing else compares. |
